Following its meeting in York on May 20 and May 21st the House of Bishops of the Church of England has release two statements – one on the next steps on the process of women becoming Bishops in the Church of England and the second on Issues of Safeguarding in the Church of England

An inspection report on the South West Ministry Training Course (SWMTC) published today expresses ‘confidence’ in 12 out of 16 criteria including its teaching staff; its governance, management, constitution and organisation; its students; and its accommodation - leading to an overall judgment of ‘confidence with qualifications’.
Lectionary is a best-selling Christian book – and now an increasingly popular app for iPhone and iPad

The Common Worship Lectionary - the resource which lists references for the daily Bible readings used in Common Worship services - is more popular than ever in its printed and digital formats. It was number 7 in the Top 20 Religion: UK book chart for 2012. Combining sales of the Common Worship Lectionary and the SPCK Lectionary 2013 would take the resource to the number 3 position. This makes the Lectionary the best-selling Christian title sold through high street bookstores.
